Content Delivery Network (CDN)

A content delivery network is a globally distributed network of proxy servers deployed across multiple data centres, designed to serve content to end users with minimum latency and fast load times. By caching content at nodes geographically close to the requesting user, a CDN reduces the round-trip distance data must travel, improving delivery speed and reliability.

In AdTech, creatives are commonly hosted on CDNs to ensure ad assets reach users as quickly as possible — minimizing the lag between an auction completing and the ad rendering on screen.
