Dynamic Creative
Dynamic Creative
Also known as: dynamic creative ad, DCA
A type of digital advertisement in which the content, design, and layout change dynamically based on data available at the time of serving. Rather than displaying a single static creative to all viewers, dynamic creative adapts in real time according to two primary signals: the context of the web page where the ad appears (e.g., category, environment, placement) and the behaviour of the user being targeted (e.g., browsing history, purchase intent, demographic attributes).
Dynamic creative is closely related to — and often used interchangeably with — dynamic creative optimization (DCO), which refers specifically to the automated process of testing and selecting the best-performing creative variation for a given impression. Together, these approaches allow advertisers to deliver highly personalized ad experiences at scale without manually producing a separate creative for every audience segment or context.
